Job Title: Vacation Student 

Location: Kalgoorlie Operations 

Employment Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Casual, Kalgoorlie Residential 

Roster: 7/7 12-hour shifts  

About the role: 

Our 3-month Vacation Program provides students with valuable exposure to entry level roles within an underground mining environment, combining hands on experience with dedicated support from experienced mentors. You’ll build practical skills, develop confidence and earn while you learn. 

• Experience underground mining – Put your studies into practice and gain exposure to an operating mine environment 

• Learn from industry experts – Work alongside experienced professionals who will support your development and give insight into a career in underground mining. 

• Build your career – Build industry connections and explore a pathway that could lead to a future Graduate position with one of Australia’s leading gold producers. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering, or a Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering or a related discipline. Second year or penultimate year students are encouraged to apply. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships  

• Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
