We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Corporate Accountant based in our Subiaco office. Promising a long-term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed corporate finance team and contribute to our success. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be working on a 5/2 roster.

Here’s what awaits you:

• Oversee and manage financial reporting and compliance.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
• Prepare and review external reporting (Quarterly, Half Yearly, Annual, board papers) and manage liaison with auditors.
• Perform month-end procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations, board reporting, share-based payments, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and corporate budgets/forecasts.
• Drive financial process improvements and standardisation.
• Support the Chief Financial Officer, General Manager – Finance, and Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience:

• Extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial management, including leading and mentoring junior accounting staff, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Proven track record in financial reporting and compliance, including preparing and reviewing external reporting (Quarterly, Half Yearly, Annual, board papers).
• Experience in managing liaison with auditors and performing month-end procedures such as balance sheet reconciliations, board reporting, share-based payments, and cash flow statements.

Qualifications:

• CPA or CA qualification.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
