Position: Project Manager
Roster: 4/3 or 8/6 - FIFO ex Perth or Residential in Kalgoorlie
Location: KCGM
Here’s what awaits you:
- Lead gold recovery projects from decommissioned equipment to maximise asset value.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to preserve idle equipment for potential future use.
- Prepare and manage detailed project plans aligned with shutdowns, maintenance windows and production targets.
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, monitor expenditure and drive cost-effective delivery without compromising safety or quality.
- Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, metallurgy, engineering, and external contractors to ensure alignment and minimise operational disruption.
- Oversee contractor performance, procurement activities, and tender evaluations, ensuring compliance with site standards and requirements.
- Deliver progress reporting, maintain accurate project documentation, and capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience delivering sustaining capital or brownfield design projects within gold mining industry.
- Working knowledge of gold processing circuits (crushing, milling, CIL/CIP, elution, tailings) to effectively manage project impacts on production.
- Strong project management capability across scope, design, schedule, cost and risk management.
- Exposure of the full project life cycle including supporting commissioning, operational readiness and handover of new assets.
- Proficiency using MS Projects, Excel and Pronto or similar WMS packages.
- Ability to influence, communicate risks effectively and strong commercial acumen.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical, Reliability, Mechanical Engineering (desirable) or Trade with relevant industry experience.
- Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
