Northern Star Resources is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Corporate Office in Subiaco on a full‑time permanent basis working Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate personnel records in line with statutory requirements and the Company’s Quality Systems.

 

Here is what awaits you.

  • Collaborate with the Payroll shared services team to reconcile payroll data
  • Process and verify payroll transactions on a fortnightly, and ad hoc basis
  • Ensure payroll payments are accurate, compliant with legislation, and meet deadlines
  • Maintain up‑to‑date employee records
  • Administer End of Pay and End of Month processes, including GL and superannuation reconciliations
  • Respond to and resolve complex payroll enquiries accurately and promptly
  • Work closely with Payroll, HR and Finance stakeholders to identify process improvements

 

To thrive in this role, you will need.

Experience: 2–3 years demonstrated experience, exposure to SAP Payroll and SuccessFactors, sound knowledge of payroll legislation, the ability to meet strict deadlines, and intermediate MS Excel skills.

Qualifications: High attention to detail and data accuracy, strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently with initiative, and experience with SuccessFactors (desirable). Current C Class Drivers Licence
