Currently our People & Culture Department has a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and experienced Organisational Development (OD) Advisor to join our Corporate Office located in Subiaco.
The OD Advisor will support implementation of Culture & Capability initiatives that build leadership effectiveness, uplift capability and enable sustained behaviour change across Northern Star’s operations. This role translates enterprise programs into practical, locally embedded actions through facilitation, leader support, coaching and behaviour‑change enablement. The role will focus on execution, adoption and local ownership, ensuring delivery remains aligned with strategic priorities and our STARR Core Values.

- Drive, assist and/or support the delivery of programs in the Organisational Development remit
- Collaborate and engage across the business and with key stakeholders to support a psychologically healthy and safe culture, engage and grow our people, using evidence-based programs.
- Deliver site/functional initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including culture surveys, talent management, performance and development, facilitation, training, succession planning, employee engagement programs and communications.
- Conduct needs analyses to understand Organisational Development requirements, and deliver practical, effective and relevant solutions that support our teams.
- Understand, interpret and communicate data sets and reports to stakeholders and facilitate practical next steps and actions for implementation.
- Contribute to the development and the delivery of employee engagement metrics, including pulse checks and surveys.
- Support leader capability uplift, leveraging Mental Health, Leadership Learning and Development and Employee Engagement initiatives.
- Deliver concise, accessible communication tailored to frontline, operational and corporate audiences, using appropriate channels and mediums (to maximise engagement and impact).
- Regular travel to site as required to support facilitation, leader engagement and implementation of activities.
To thrive in this role, you will need.
Experience:
- Experience in organisational development, leadership development, human resources, learning and development or another relevant field.
- Experience supporting and delivering OD initiatives, backed by knowledge of OD frameworks, behaviour change and leadership development.
- Evidence of supporting cultural and behavioural change within operational environments. A sound understanding of psychological and psychosocial health and safety principles.
- Experience facilitating workshops and coaching senior leaders and frontline supervisors will be viewed favourably.
Qualifications:
- A Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint).
- Power BI and HR data analysis skills would be advantageous.
