Position: Operational Readiness Specialist - Assets

 

Location: Perth or Kalgoorlie

 

Roster: Monday – Friday

 

Here's what awaits you:

  • Asset hierarchy build for plant.
  • Asset criticality assessments.
  • Safe Work Procedure and Plant area processing manual reviews.
  • Monthly site project update slide pack and presentation.
  • Project Engineering the identification, verification check, procurement and delivery of maintenance Tooling and equipment for the new plant. This includes liaising with site and contractors to ensure fit for purpose equipment, raising CER’s etc.
  • Maintenance training development, scheduling and coordination for new plant.
  • Site onboarding material development and roll out.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring

 

Expertise and Accomplishments:

  • A Tertiary Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, along with extensive experience in a similar role, or equivalent asset management experience at a senior level, ideally within a gold or mineral processing plant environment.
  • A strong working knowledge of Asset Management best practices.
  • Solutions focused, with strong analytical & problem-solving skills & the ability to foresee and plan for potential scenarios across your remit, mitigating any associated risk.
  • Solid computer literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as within a CMMS, ideally Pronto.
  • Possess a sound working knowledge of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
