We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to join our team. Promising a long-term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team supporting both corporate and site-based operations. This role offers a dynamic environment to grow your IT career.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Provide customer service to Northern Star employees and contractors.
  • Manage and support IT systems on-site, including desktops, laptops, and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user computing issues on various devices and applications.
  • Participate in the on-call roster for remote support via call, text message, or Teams.
  • Advise staff and contractors on IT security best practices and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Assist with implementing IT projects on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Secure decommissioned equipment and destroy data as per standards.
  • Maintain passwords for network and security equipment in the IT password management system.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement IT end-user computing solutions based on standards and best practices.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-year of relevant experience providing first level IT support.
  • Experience in the mining industry is an asset.
  • Proven experience supporting IT environments including Windows 10, Office, SCCM, Active Directory, and mobile platforms.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in computer studies or certifications in Microsoft/Azure.
  • ITIL certification or experience working within an ITIL framework is desirable.
