Here’s what awaits you: 

We are offering permanent opportunities to Fixed Plant Electricians, Mechanical Fitters at our world-class Thunderbox, Jundee and Carosue Dam operations. You will be working on 8 days on, 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth. Northern Star Resources has multiple key assets across WA, giving our workforce exposure to diverse operations and opportunities to develop their careers.

 

Experience required: 

 

Mechanical Fitters:  Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment; crusher, mill & centrifugal pump rebuild experience & hydraulic fault finding and diagnostics (favourable). 

 

Fixed Plant Electricians: 1-2 years similar electrical experience; PLC, Citect and field instrument experience (preferred); Pronto experience (preferred). 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Mechanical Fitter: Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting and Machining; current Australian Drivers Licence; computer literacy - Microsoft Office & CMMS. 

  • Fixed Plant Electrician: Electrical Trade Qualification; WA Electrical Licence; High Voltage Switching Ticket & Cert 3 Instrumentation or Higher (Desirable).
