NSSM has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and experienced Cataloguing Officer to join our team, working at our Subiaco corporate Office. This role is offered on a 12 months fixed term full-time basis working Monday to Friday
Reporting to the Group Manager Finance – Mining Services, the Cataloguing officer will manage cataloguing and inventory processes to support cost control and reporting, drive material‑master data integration between Pronto and other systems (including data migration, mapping, testing and post‑go‑live support), coordinate contract and supplier information, and deliver analytics to enable data‑driven decisions and continuous business improvements
Here's what awaits you:
- Create, maintain and standardise catalogue and material master data.
- Validate and cleanse data, including removing duplicates, correcting descriptions, and updating pricing and supplier information.
- Manage material master integration across ERP and related systems, including mapping and data migration activities.
- Conduct and support stocktakes, cycle counts and reconciliation of physical versus system inventory.
- Provide catalogue support to purchasing teams, site operations and suppliers.
- Set and monitor critical stock levels, reorder points, lead times and safety stock recommendations.
- Travel to site locations as required and perform ad hoc duties as needed.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in cataloguing and material master data, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, ERP experience (preferably Pronto) and a strong knowledge of purchasing, inventory and material master data standards.
Qualifications: Data entry accuracy and flexibility to adopt to improved systems and practices.
Passion for Growth: High regard for safety with demonstrated organisational, analytical and communication skills.
