About our role

Northern Star has a Full-time, Permanent opportunity for several experienced All-Round Operators to join our world-class Thunderbox, Bronzewing and Carosue Dam Operations. These opportunities are offered on an even time 15 shifts on, 13 days off roster and are offered as permanent positions.  

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Operating a variety of equipment including (but not limited to) 16M Graders, D10T Dozers, 777D&F Watercarts, CAT844 and 854 Wheel Dozers and CAT 992 Loaders
  • Conducting pre-start meetings in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures
  • Reporting hazards when encountering them to ensure a safe work environment
  • Following Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safe operation of mobile plant equipment
  • Working towards reducing costs in daily jobs by not wasting resources at hand

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: 12+ months experience operating mining fleet in an open cut mining environment. Gold mining experience is also highly regarded.
  • Licence: Current Australian C - Class Drivers Licence (HR highly regarded)
  • Passion for growth: Genuine passion for the Australian gold mining industry with high regard for safety
