Northern Star has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and detail oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team at our Subiaco corporate office.  This role is offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis working Monday to Friday and will suit a customer focused individual with prior experience in Accounts Payable. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to our site-based teams by accurately verifying, processing and reconciling invoices in a timely manner.

 

Here's what awaits you:

 

  • Reconciling accounts payable transactions and ensuring vendor's balances are accurate
  • Partnering with site personnel to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues
  • Liaising closely with onsite personnel regarding outstanding invoices and credit notes
  • Monitoring vendor's accounts to ensure all payments are up do date
  • Preparing and providing accounts payable reports as required
  • Coordinating and processing and weekly electronic transfers and payments
  • Responding promptly and professionally to vendor enquiries
  • Supporting month end activities, including GRNI reconciliation

 

To thrive in this role

 

Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably with Pronto exposure, along with strong attention to detail, high data‑entry accuracy, and solid knowledge of general accounting procedures

Qualifications: Well‑developed computer skills, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite, Outlook, Pronto and Redmap.
