Position: Site Services Technician – Mechanical

 

Roster: 16 days on, 12 days off

 

Location: Hemi

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Fault checking vehicles, equipment, assets that require repair prior to ordering parts/supplies to make good or arranging external service providers.
  • Out of service plant and equipment to be serviced/repaired in line with OEM requirements and as per OEM schedule. Example, generators (mechanical), water pumps, diamond core saws.
  • Experience with down hole submersible bore pumps/sump pumps, diesel powered transfer/flexi drives etc.
  • Maintain consumables as required for mobile plant and equipment.
  • Specific plant being camp generators, RO and WWTP are to be daily checked and maintained per OEM guidelines with monthly reporting on hours, maintenance and thru put where applicable.
  • Perform a variety of building maintenance, performing minor or emergency repairs; along with small works related to village accommodation.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

 

Experience:

  • Experience in a maintenance technician role or convertible trade skills mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding/fabrication.
  • Exposure maintaining RO water plants, Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) or transferable skill sets i.e. tech water systems along with poly, pvc and steel piping repair works.
  • Extensive experience in accommodation/village maintenance or transferable skill set/s.

 

Qualifications:

  • Manual C Class Driver’s License HR and Forklift licences.
  • Working at heights.
  • 4WD Certificate.
