About our role:

Northern Star Resources currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at Thunderbox, ensuring high quality of warehouse services and efficient inventory management is provided across the operation. This is a permanent opportunity offered on an 8 days on & 6 days off Tuesday To Tuesday roster, FIFO ex Perth & Busselton.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Coordinate the daily management, control and supervision of the work and work areas of the warehouse in accordance with Mines Safety Inspection Act & Regulations
  • Provide technical advice and support to warehouse team members
  • Liaise with Maintenance leadership team regarding planned work for each shift, including daily priorities, relevant documentation, and updates throughout the shift
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean with all inventories located corrected
  • Identifying & upkeep of items that require preservation including reviewing of min/max levels
  • Run, attend, and contribute to Supply related meetings

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: Previous supervisory warehousing experience, Computer and ERP system knowledge (Pronto desirable), knowledge of OH&S and Dangerous Goods Legislation.
  • Qualifications: Forklift (LF) Licence, Certificate in Storage & Handling of Dangerous Goods & a valid Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Passion for Growth: A motivation & desire to lead the Thunderbox warehousing team demonstrating strong organizational skills and customer service.
