Northern Star Resources currently has an opportunity for a Training Advisor to join our Jundee Operations working on an ongoing 8 days on, 6 days off roster on a permanent and  full time basis.  The incumbent will support the development, review and delivery of training programs across all departments, including processing and maintenance, ensuring all training aligns with Northern Star’s induction, training & assessing, and competency training performance standards.

 

Here is what awaits you.

  • Coordinate training and assessment schedules with the Health & Safety Manager, site leaders, and external providers.
  • Support WHS mines statutory certificates and exam readiness for upcoming legislative requirements.
  • Deliver company and site inductions while maintaining consistent onsite training alongside a back‑to‑back team member.
  • Review, develop and maintain training programs, operating procedures, standards and manuals to meet industry and Northern Star requirements.
  • Monitor training compliance and reporting through INX InTuition, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Develop and deliver competency‑based training, reassessments, training needs analysis and assessment tools across all site teams.
  • Mentor and support onsite trainer/assessors while contributing to continuous improvement of training systems and programs.

 

To thrive in this role, you will need.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar mining training role, with strong face‑to‑face coaching and leadership skills. Highly desirable experience in process plant and fixed plant maintenance operations, with competency in INX, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Power BI reporting.

Qualification: Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or higher), current C‑Class Driver’s Licence and First Aid Certificate. Mobile plant experience desirable, including forklift, EWP, telehandler, skid steer, front end Loader and Integrated Tool Carrier.
