About the opportunity:
Northern Star has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration Technician at our Thunderbox Operations offered on an 8 days on 6 days off Wednesday to Wednesday rotation, FIFO ex Perth & ex Busselton. The Refrigeration Technician reports to the Electrical Supervisor and will require you to conduct fault finding, inspections, and refrigeration repairs to keep operations running smoothly on site and within the camp.
Here's what awaits you...
- You will be required to undertake all aspects of installation, repair, maintenance, testing, and fault finding within a camp environment
- You will work as part of a maintenance team to conduct maintenance and preventive works across residential, village and mine site facilities.
- Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
To thrive in this role, you'll need...
- Experience: 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a mining environment, strong knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning systems and components.
- Qualifications: WA Restricted Electrical License; Refrigerant Handling Licence; CPR/LVR & First Aid; current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Passion for Growth: A strong desire & motivation to be part of a successful maintenance team & contribute to Northern Star's dynamic work environment
