About the role:

Northern Star Resources has an exciting leadership opportunity at our world-class Jundee mine site for an experienced Site Services Supervisor who is focused and driven, with a preference to work FIFO ex Perth on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster. The Site Services Supervisor reports to the Site Services Co-Ordinator or delegate, and the primary role is to lead the team to provide general maintenance, repairs and dewatering across all surface operations including the village, processing & mining operations and annexures.

Here's what awaits you...

• Manage Site Services personnel to ensure the effective repair and maintenance of work areas so that business targets and goals are achieved to maximum effect.
• Ensure all activities are conducted to achieve lowest cost production.
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives, & allocate daily tasks to crew members.
• Work closely with the Mechanical Supervisor/s and Electrical Supervisor/s to ensure the bore fields, camp and site facilities available are such that the key resources and assets are effectively utilised and optimised.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs for surface infrastructure including the village, site and other operational areas. Duties may include painting, carpentry, plumbing and mechanical work, where qualified.
• Installation, repairs and maintenance of various pumps, gen sets and dewatering infrastructure and equipment.

To thrive in this role you will need...

Experience: 3 Years' experience in maintenance, trades and/or dewatering in a mining environment, strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team to achieve organisational goals, good computer literacy.

Qualifications: Trade Qualification in relevant discipline, Australian C Class Driver's Licence, Poly-welding Certification (desirable), High Risk Licenses – Crane, Forklift, EWP (desirable).
