Position: Senior Ventilation Engineer
Location: Jundee
Roster: 8 days on and 6 days off
Here’s what awaits you:
- Oversee the ventilation department to develop & implement the Ventilation Management Plan.
- Identify, assess and manage risks in order to improve reliability and performance of underground ventilation systems.
- Creation and management of Capital expenditure requests.
- Capital infrastructure planning for budget submissions.
- Project manage installations and upgrades to capital infrastructure including but not limited to ventilation, pumping and water supply.
- Complete project work for future ventilation infrastructure or system design.
- Identify and communicate risks to the delivery of the mine plan to the Technical Services leadership.
- Maintain infrastructure guidelines and procedures owned by the projects department.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge in underground hard rock mining, showcasing comprehensive practicality in production, mine planning, and project management. A detailed understanding of ventilation network design, implementation, execution, survey and maintenance is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
- Hold Ventilation Officer ticket (essential).
- WA First Class Mine Managers Certificate (highly desirable).
