We are looking for a dedicated Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join our Jundee Operations in the Northern Goldfields. This permanent and full-time opportunity will work an ongoing 8 & 6 roster, flying in / out of Perth.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Superintendent, the primary role is to maintain the Mine Health and Safety Management Plan, focusing on risk management awareness and compliance
What you can look forward to:
- Drive compliance with the Mine Health & Safety Management Plan, legislation, and company standards.
- Lead critical risk management programs, including training, reporting, analysis, and compliance monitoring.
- Review and maintain risk management documentation, Principal Mining Hazard Management Plans, and safety systems.
- Conduct safety audits, workplace inspections, risk assessments, and document control reviews.
- Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and support continuous safety improvement initiatives.
- Deliver safety training and facilitate site health and safety programs, including ChemAlert updates.
- Monitor safety performance, injury reporting, and key compliance metrics to support operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.
- Atleast 3 years in a senior safety advisor or similar safety leadership role
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the mining industry.
- Hold a valid ‘C class’ Drivers Licence.
