Northern Star Resources is seeking a driven and ambitious Project Geologist to join our team at our Carosue Dam Operations. This FIFO role operates on an 8:6 roster, flying ex‑Perth, and offers an opportunity to work at one of Australia’s premier gold operations.
Here's what awaits you:
- Ensure optimal ore grade delivery to the Processing Plant through effective geological support
- Design, execute, and interpret drill programs to identify and unlock new resource opportunities
- Contribute to the long‑term success of the operation through high‑quality geological input
- Oversee the design, scheduling, and supervision of drill programs
- Ensure accurate, timely, and high‑quality data collection and interpretation
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to support operational outcomes
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to Graduate and Mine Geologists to build a strong technical team
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Experience:
Passionate Geologist with a strong background in underground gold mining and hands-on experience in orebody modelling, mapping, and face sampling. Skilled in geological software such as Leapfrog, Datamine and Acquire, with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of QA/QC processes.
Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Geology, and a WA C Class Manual Drivers Licence.
