Role: Project Geologist – Growth
Location: Jundee
Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off
What you can look forward to:
As a Project Geologist, you’ll use your analytical and technical expertise to evaluate the Jundee Mine area and surrounding North Yandal tenements to identify and rank drill target areas/zones, with the aim of converting areas to resource and reserve. You'll be responsible for the below:
- Plan multiple drill programs over a year timeframe, understanding personnel, budget, permitting, supply and contract requirements.
- Communicate and defend geology and mineralisation interpretations and 3D models to management
- Mentor a small cohesive team of Growth Geologists, fostering a strong safety culture with a focus on collaboration and delivery of results.
- Ensure the accurate handling of exploration data, including Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes, data interpretation, and comprehensive report writing.
- Develop collaborative and performance driven relationships with key departments and business partners.
- Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring
Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in geoscience.
- +5 years relevant experience.
- Proficient user of Leapfrog and ArcGIS.
- Knowledge of drilling methods, sampling practices, structural geology and geochemistry techniques. Understanding of resource estimation methods.
- Ability to influence, communicate risks effectively, and deliver compelling presentations.
