Position: Mining Engineer – Planning
Location: Jundee
Roster: 8 days on 6 days off, FIFO ex Perth
Here's what awaits you:
- Produce accurate and clear mine instructions (lateral and vertical mine development, stope notes) by bringing conceptual designs to execution-ready plans.
- Work closely with the geology team to ensure designs are in line with available geological information.
- Evaluation of prospective remnant areas and improvement projects to optimise mining practices.
- Assist the Senior Engineer in developing weekly plans and schedules and ensuring compliance to monthly and 3MS special requirements
- Management of underground contractors for project work where required.
- Work closely with survey and operations to prioritise and execute development activities.

Expertise and Accomplishments
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering with practical underground time completed. Desirable skills include competency using Deswik packages (CAD and IS) with demonstrated working knowledge in a fast-paced mechanised hard-rock underground operation. This coupled with understanding of narrow vein mining and forward planning is ideal.
