About the opportunity:

Northern Star has a new opportunity for an experienced Pastefill Runner at our Carosue Dam operations. The Paste Fill Runner reports to the Processing Shift Supervisor, and the primary role is to assist in the safe operation of the Paste Fill Plant in accordance to specified parameters and production targets within the Processing Department. 

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Operate the Paste Fill Plant according to site procedures.

  • Comply with the fill plan provided by the Paste Fill Production Engineers.

  • Complete planned/unplanned maintenance tasks as required.

  • Promptly report any operational variances from nominated set points.

  • Undertake regular inspections of all working paste plant activity areas as required to ensure safe operations.

  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained.

  • Comply with and undertake additional / alternative responsibilities as reasonably requested by their supervisor.

  • Complete QA/QC sampling and testing.

  • Effectively communicate with cross shifts to obtain and transfer relevant production information.

 

Required skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working with Paste fill.

  • Current "C" Class WA Drivers Licence.

  • Desired Experience & Competencies

  • High regard for safety.

  • Computer literacy - Microsoft Office, Micromine, etc

  • Good communication skills

  • Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.

  • St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable)
