Northern Star Resources is seeking a driven and ambitious Mine Surveyor to join our team at our Jundee Operations. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor you will assist with the underground and surface mining operations, including surveying of designed drill holes, surveying of completed works and issuing accurate survey plans in a safe, effective and efficient manner. This FIFO role operates on an 8:6 roster, flying ex‑Perth, and offers an opportunity to work at one of Australia’s premier gold operations.
Here's what awaits you:

Oversee the survey marks out of drill and blast rings, mine heading development, exploration drilling and raise bore drilling.

Survey control for all related mining activities.

Assist with survey plans including survey instructions (horizontal and vertical development), end of month surveys, dig permits and emergency response plans.

Survey of end of month development and ore stockpiles, stope surveys, heading development, geological mapping and surface works when required.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Experience:
1-2 years of practical experience, preferably in a fast-paced underground mining environment. Desirable skills include proficiency with Deswik software packages, strong personal organizational abilities, and forward-planning capabilities.
Qualifications:
Candidates should hold an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, and a WA C Class Manual Drivers Licence.
