Experienced Mine Control Operator wanted for our fast-paced Jundee Operations. Mine Control is the centre point of all mine communications and logistics. As a Mine Control Operator the primary role will be to provide good concise communications as well as the ability to understand multiple functions of underground mining.

 

Roster will be 8 days on 6 days off and 7 nights on, 7 nights off, FIFO ex Perth.

 

Here's what awaits you:

  • Monitor and control ventilation fans and mine water inflows according to site procedures.
  • Account for all personnel and equipment in terms of location, status and planned movements.
  • Record equipment status and material movements in computerised control system.
  • Provide communication and coordination services in the event of an emergency.
  • Ensure data recorded is accurate and timely.
  • Monitor tag board against Pitram records to ensure safety of all underground personnel.

Experience:

Candidates should have previous experience in a coordination role in an underground mining environment. Desirable skills include competency using Micromine 3, knowledge of underground machinery and equipment and effective use of multi channels radio communication networks.
