Northern Star Resources is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our Carosue Dam Operations on a permanent, full‑time 8/6 FIFO roster.

 This role suits a proactive, hands‑on safety professional with mining and FIFO experience, offering long‑term stability and a rewarding career opportunity.

 

Here is what awaits you. 

  • Partnering with site-based WHS teams and operational leaders to drive safety outcomes
  • Supporting and continuously improving the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments
  • Assisting with serious incident investigations and monitoring corrective actions
  • Ensuring statutory reporting is completed within required timeframes
  • Coordinating corporate drug and alcohol testing programs
  • Supporting inductions for corporate and site-based employees
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ensuring environmental compliance and responsible site practices

 

To thrive in this role you will need.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar FIFO role, coupled with a strong knowledge of mining and minerals processing operations and a strong understanding of risk management processes (ICAM preferred).

Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health & Safety (or related discipline), accompanied by Lead Auditor qualification (desirable) and a current WA C Class Drivers’ Licence.
