About the opportunity:

Northern Star Resources have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Administrator to join the growing team at our Jundee Operations. This is offered an 8/6 roster, FIFO ex Perth.  This role will provide administrative, data management and procedural support to our Health & Safety team.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Provide administration support to the Health & Safety team and ensure all administration functions and tasks associated with the position are undertaken and completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist the OHS Manager to ensure that all Health & Safety reporting requirements meet corporate requirements and are completed and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Health & Safety team to prepare and provide information to all personnel regarding health and safety matters.
  • Compile site HSEC monthly reports, inclusive of legislative reporting functions as required
  • Report any trends within safety statistics that may be of concern
  • Active participation in all communication and awareness systems
  • Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes
  • Maintain relevant databases and inform relevant Stakeholders regarding any concerns
  • Collate and enter data into the relevant Company databases and systems
  • Provide document writing development and support

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: 2 years’ experience in a similar role and/or mine site administration experience. INX and Pronto experience also highly regarded.
  • Qualification: Qualification in Business Administration (preferred) and current Australian C - Class Drivers Licence
  • Passion for growth: Genuine passion for the Australian gold mining industry with high regard for safety
