About our role

Northern Star Resources are seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators to join our brand-new open pit at Thunderbox Operations. This is a full-time, permanent role offered on an even-time 15:13 roster (15 days on, 13 days off).

You’ll be part of a fresh, dynamic team working with brand-new electric mobile equipment at a modern site designed for safety and efficiency. If you're ready for your next big move in gold mining, this is the opportunity for you.

Here’s what awaits you:

• Operating electric dump trucks to transport ore and waste safely and efficiently
• Performing pre-start checks and participating in daily safety meetings
• Identifying and reporting hazards to maintain a safe work environment
• Following site SOPs for safe and productive mobile equipment operation
• Actively looking for ways to improve efficiency and reduce resource waste

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: Minimum 12 months operating electric dump trucks in a mining environment. Hitachi EH3500AC-3 experience highly regarded.

Qualification: Valid Australian C-Class Driver’s Licence

Passion for growth: Safety-focused, good communicator, and passionate about gold mining
