We have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at KCGM.
This opportunity is offered as residential in the Goldfields, working a 5/2 4/3, 9 hours per day.
You will be responsible for leading the Mobile Maintenance Warehouse Team who are accountable for receiving, storing, issuing, and despatching correct parts and materials to service the departmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a consistently high standard of warehouse services across the operation.
- Coordinate the daily management, control and supervision of the work and work areas of the
warehouse in accordance with Mines Safety Inspection Act & Regulations.
- Provide coaching, development and guidance to warehouse team members.
- Coordinate continuous improvement within the warehouse operation.
- Undertake a full inspection of all working areas throughout the shift as required to ensure safe
operations.
- Ensure purchase orders are raised and receipted in accordance with policy.
- Liaise with management to forecast future requirements of consumables and parts for shuts
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas.
- Ensure personnel are adequately trained and qualified in relevant operating procedures.
- Develop a culture of high performance and behaviours that are consistent with agreed values.
Requirements:
Essential
- Current “C” Class WA Drivers Licence.
- Current WA Forklift Licence.
Desired
- 3 to 5 years warehouse experience.
- Mobile maintenance experience eg CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Legislation.
- Experience in leadership/supervision.
- Experience in inventory and purchasing software (e.g. Pronto)
- High standard of customer service skills.
