About the role:

Join us as a Warehouse Officer at the iconic KCGM Superpit, offering over a decade of mine life and long-term career potential. You’ll be part of our respected Open Pit Maintenance Warehouse team, working a convenient 8:6 residential roster with 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.

 

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, provide warehouse services that ensure high quality supply, storage and distribution of goods in support of Company business activities. A strong focus on Internal Customer service supports the day-to-day needs of operational activities from the Warehouse area.

 

Here’s what awaits you: 

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels
  • Investigate discrepancies and document stock transfers, returns, and adjustments
  • Issue, return, and enter stock data into the Inventory Management System
  • Accept deliveries, load/unload parts and consumables for freight, and ensure safe, efficient inventory storage
  • Conduct full inspections of working areas to ensure safe operations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Establish minimum/maximum stock levels for efficient inventory management
  • Raise and receipt purchase orders in accordance with site policy

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar stores/inventory role
  • Experience in mining or heavy industrial environments preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to interpret maintenance parts and familiarity with mine site consumables highly regarded

Qualifications:

  • Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian Drivers Licence.
  • National Police Clearance (desirable)
  • Forklift ticket
