We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Officer to join our Kalgoorlie Operations. This residential role operates on a 5/2, 4/3, 9 hours per day. Offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment in one of Australia’s premier gold mining regions.
Be a part of the Warehouse Team accountable for receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching correct parts and materials to service site departmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on safety in the work environment, including hazard identification, housekeeping, and adherence to processes and procedures.
- Complete allocated daily tasks including processing of incoming goods, preparation of goods for delivery to site, stock counts, inventory storage and reagent and fuel management.
- Ensure that Warehouse materials handling equipment has daily pre-start checks, is regularly maintained, and kept clean.
- Work closely with other teams on site to respond to site requirements.
- Actively participate in warehouse operations improvements, providing feedback and suggestions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehousing environment or the mining industry
- Current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift
- Understanding of Dangerous Goods Legislation (for Storage and Handling) and Chain of custody
- Enterprise Resource Planning exposure; preferably Pronto
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Experience in Logistics and Transport
- Strong organisational skills, including time management and communication
- The ability to work within a small team
