We’re looking for a proactive Warehouse Officer to join our close-knit team at the iconic KCGM Superpit that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long-term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed Open Pit Maintenance Warehouse team on the convenience of an 8:6, 12-hour days & nights residential family-friendly roster.

 

Here's what awaits you:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and document stock transfers and returns
  • Issue, return, and data enter stock in the Inventory Management System
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and adjust stock levels as needed
  • Accept deliveries and manage inbound/outbound freight
  • Ensure safe and efficient storage of all inventory
  • Perform area inspections to ensure safe operations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Establish min/max stock levels for efficient inventory control
  • Raise and receipt purchase orders in line with policy

 

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

 

Desired Experience & Competencies:

  • Previous stores/ inventory management experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment
  • Australian Manuel Drivers licence
  • Current forklift ticket
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to interpret maintenance parts as well as knowledge of other mine site consumables will be well regarded
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
