We have an enticing residential Warehouse Officer position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 7/7 (12-hour days) roster.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Contribute to the standardisation of Warehouse policy and procedures for the Kalgoorlie region. Ensuring that the Warehouse areas are cleaned frequently to promote a clean and safe workplace.
- Maintain and manage the inventory of all tooling for the maintenance team.
- Ensure that all tools and PPE are in good working condition and replace items as necessary.
- Manage mobile equipment, including forklifts and elevated work platforms.
- Display a clear commitment to safety and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment.
- Operate in accordance with and comply the Company’s Safety and Health Policy, and with all site policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Operate in accordance with the Company’s Environment Policy, and comply with other site environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment. Operate in accordance with Company’s Stakeholder Policy.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience: Sound oral and written communication skills. 2 years in Warehouse experience. Skills to deliver high standard customer service. Ability to deal with conflict with focus on resolution and time management. Knowledge of Dangerous Goods legislation. Experience in inventory and purchasing software (eg Pronto). Computer literacy – including Microsoft Suite and Pronto. Knowledge of Warehouse operations, supply processes and logistics. Good time management, organisation, attention to detail and data entry skills. Experience with stocktaking.
Qualifications: Certificate in Forklift Operation, National Police Clearance and Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
