We have an enticing Warehouse Officer position awaiting you at the iconic KCGM Superpit that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed Open Pit Maintenance Warehouse team on the convenience of an 8:6, 12hr days & nights residential family friendly roster.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Maintaining accurate records of all inventory transactions and stock levels, Investigating inventory discrepancies and documenting stock transfers, returns etc, Issuing, returning and data entering of stock within the Inventory Management System, Undertaking regular stock takes and stock level adjustments,
- Accepting deliveries, Loading and unloading of parts and consumables for inbound and outbound freight, Ensuring storage and care of all inventory in a safe and efficient manner.
- Undertaking full inspections of all working areas throughout the shift as required to ensure safe operations, Assist with continuous improvement within the warehouse operation.
- Establishing minimum/maximum stock levels to ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Ensuring purchase orders are raised and receipted in accordance with policy.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Desired Experience & Competencies:
- Previous stores/ inventory management experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment
- Australian Manuel Drivers licence
- Current forklift ticket
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to interpret maintenance parts as well as knowledge of other mine site consumables will be well regarded
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
