Location: KCGM, Kalgoorlie residential
Here’s what awaits you:
The Vendor Commercial Lead is responsible for turning warranty entitlements and vendor commercial agreements into real and measurable value for the organisation. The role ensures warranty conditions on all newly purchased capital equipment are understood, adhered to, and managed to maximise recovery value and minimise unnecessary warranty voidance.
The role is also responsible for end-to-end warranty management and vendor engagement to maximise value recovery, ensure compliance, and prevent warranty voidance across all assets and lifecycle stages. This includes leading claims, managing vendor performance and contracts, embedding warranty requirements into commissioning, and driving ongoing asset reliability and commercial outcomes post-commissioning.
This is a critical pre-commissioning role for the new KCGM plant to establish warranty processes, onboard vendors, and integrate warranty conditions into commissioning and early operations. After commissioning, the role transitions into the Asset & Maintenance function, becoming the organisation’s technical commercial interface for warranty and vendor performance.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience:

- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to build new processes from scratch and manage high‑value commercial relationships.
- Experience in commissioning environments.
- Familiarity with rotables, rebuild contracts, or OEM performance contracts.
- Knowledge of asset management standards (e.g., ISO 55000).
Qualifications:
- Background in mechanical, electrical, reliability, or maintenance engineering.
- Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
