We have an enticing Fixed Plant Boilermaker position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 5/2, 4/3 (10hr day shift) residential roster. 

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Work within the Mechanical Team to ensure all activities are performed in a safe, timely, professional and effective manner.
  • Provide technical advice to fellow team members.
  • Carry out, develop and follow SOP’S/JHA’S/FLRA’S ensuring risks are identified and mitigated, and safety standards are met. Everyone has the authority to stop a job that does not meet these two criteria and undertake team-based risk assessments as required.
  • Order parts and equipment for all unplanned jobs as necessary. Return unused parts to designated areas.
  • Provide key involvement in addressing safety issues and undertaking safety investigations, ensuring root causes identified and corrective actions are effectively implemented.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

 

Experience: Ability to work unsupervised, interpret drawings as well as have the ability to work as a team and have attention to detail. Have experience as a Boilermaker Tradesperson in the mining industry and have effective communication skills both written and verbal.

 

Qualifications: Relevant Trade Qualification and a current “C” Class Western Australian Driver’s License.
