We have a rewarding opportunity for a Tradesperson - Fixed Plant Boilermaker to join our unique Kanowna Belle Operations. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, Join our esteemed team on a 5/2/4/3 (10 hour days) residential roster. The successful applicant must reside in the Kalgoorlie Boulder Region.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

 

  • Ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled boilermaker maintenance activities for the Process Plant are properly planned and executed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Taking a leading role during shutdowns to execute plans and monitoring the work quality to ensure good reliability of equipment is achieved.
  • Maintain statutory records for all equipment in the fixed plant and display a clear commitment to safety, seeking to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment.
  • Receive and discuss daily instructions from Supervisor and Leading Hand
  • Family friendly residential roster ensuring you are home every night with a fortnightly long weekend!

 

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience The successful applicant will have previous boilermaker experience within the mining industry and the ability to work unsupervised with high attention to detail and strong communication skills. A demonstrated commitment to team building and safety focus is highly regarded.

 

Qualifications: The successful applicant will have a Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence and a relevant Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
