Technician - Trades Assistant/Service Person

Northern Star Mining Services currently have residential vacancies for Technician – Trades Assistants across our Kalgoorlie Operations.  We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Trades Assistants to support our skilled tradespeople in the underground mining operations.  These roles are essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our sites, providing vital assistance across a range of tasks.  These will be residential roles, and the successful candidates would need to reside in the Kalgoorlie area.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience:  The successful candidate would ideally have previous experience working in a mechanical environment, with a good working knowledge of mechanical parts and equipment.  Previous experience working as a Storeperson/yard work would also be advantageous. You will need a strong commitment to workplace safety, especially in confined and challenging environments; and have the ability to work well in a team, with good communication skills and be able to follow instructions.

Qualifications: Minimum “C” class manual unencumbered drivers licence, HR Drivers Licence (highly desirable), Forklift Ticket (highly desirable)
