Talent Advisor
Northen Star Mining Services is offering an exciting opportunity for a Talent Advisor to join our team in Kalgoorlie, servicing our operations across Western Australia.
This is a residential role based in Kalgoorlie and would suit someone with strong skills in administration and communication with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
What’s the role on offer?
You will be responsible for attraction of candidates and end to end recruitment activities focused predominantly blue-collar roles in both trades and underground mining operations.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and manage job advertisements, coordinate interview processes, and conduct interviews in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Oversee pre-commencement checks to ensure full compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Organise and facilitate group interviews to assess candidates effectively.
- Manage and execute site mobilisation activities to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Proactively source candidates for challenging and hard-to-fill roles, while maintaining and nurturing talent pools.
- Represent the organisation at relevant industry events and recruitment fairs to enhance the company's brand presence and attract top talent
Requirements:
- Strong passion for recruitment and people management
- Strong administration skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy in MC Office Suite Applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
- Legal right to work within Australia.
