Shutdown Maintenance Planner

We are looking for a Shutdown Maintenance Planner to join our KCGM Fimiston Operation.

 

Reporting to Senior Shutdown Maintenance Planner you will be responsible for planning all corrective, preventative and predictive shutdown maintenance. Building accurate work packs that maximise safe and efficient execution while keeping forecast work order logs to a minimum. Responsible for planning and master activities that support the Superintendent Shutdown Accountable items.  

 

What you can look forward to:

  • Plan Fixed Plant Shutdown work orders to full compliance with the NSR Work Management Guideline (NSR-TS-025C-GUI) before marking them Planned (S). Planning responsibility begins once a work order is marked Forecast (Q).
  • Build robust work packs including work instructions, checklists, safety documentation and reference material, to maximise execution efficiency and readiness.
  • Support scope packaging ahead of the freeze milestone so scope is defined and ready to gate.
  • Keep the number of work orders in the Forecast (Q) state to an acceptable level to prevent work being delayed.
  • Action Continuous Improvement work requests and maintain Pronto master data and task lists (NSR-TS-025E-GUI).

 

Where you’ll add value:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant mining experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Pronto Xi.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain or exceed best industry practice in all Work Management tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to improved Asset Management procedures and practices.
  • Awareness of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
  • High attention to detail and clear and concise communication

 

Qualifications:

  • Trade certificate or engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Current C class Western Australian drivers licence.
