Position Details:
- Job Title: Operator – Service Crew
- Location: Mount Charlotte Underground Operations Kalgoorlie, WA
- Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in installing underground services
- Operating an Integrated Tool Carrier to move various items from the laydown yard to underground locations.
- Perform daily workplace inspections and pre-start checks for all vehicles and mobile equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair all underground services e.g.: air/water/pump lines, ventilation bags, secondary fans, temporary electrical cables, submersible pumps in sumps, Mono pumps, and clean / maintain explosive areas
- Installing and removing communication equipment/knocker line in accordance with site policies
- Install grout, plate, and tension of cable bolts
- Safely use hand tools to undertake certain tasks
- Train new personnel in all aspects of Service Crew
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months practical experience as an Underground Service Crew Operator
- Operation of integrated tool carriers competency
- Unencumbered manual C class drivers licence
- Current working at heights certificate
- Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (Desirable
- Senior first aid certificate (Desirable)
