We have an enticing Tradesperson – Fixed Plant Electrical residential position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on a family friendly 7/7 (12 hour-shift) roster.

The Senior Tradesperson – Fixed Plant Electrical will primarily be responsible for the execution of planned and breakdown works as well as providing guidance and direction to a small team of electrical technicians.

You will report directly to the electrical supervisor and will maintain a strong relationship with the processing shift supervisor to ensure unplanned works are prioritised according to business needs.

They will aid in ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements while demonstrating a pro-active approach to safety in line with Northern Star standards

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

 

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Current A grade electrical license
  • Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Western Australian Construction White Card
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, Pronto Xi
  • Experience in the mining industry, 4 years minimum
  • Ability to act as step-up for the Electrical Shift Supervisor on an as required basis
  • Sound diagnostic skills and technical skills
  • Must reside in the Goldfields region - KCGM is a residential mine site
