Northern Star Resources have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Geologist to join our dynamic Growth team at our KCGM Operations, working an 8/6 11-hour day roster.

Requirements

Essential

• Degree in Geology, preferably with Honours, from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
• Experience in supervising drill contractors, demanding adherence to all relevant environmental, safety and security measures
• Experience with logging and processing diamond core.
• Able to provide training and mentorship to Graduate Geologists, Growth Geologists and Geology Technicians
• Ability to work within a team.
• Capable at driving and delivering on multiple concurrent projects

Preferred

• Minimum 5 year of geological experience in Operations, Growth or Discovery. Underground experience highly regarded.
• Geological software – Competent in: Leapfrog, acquire
• Exposure to geological modelling.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
