We have an enticing residential Processing Supervisor position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 7/7 (12-hour days and nights) roster.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Train and mentor crew members in all areas of the plant, striving towards employee level advancement of personnel. Complete formal annual employee performance reviews for all crew members in conjunction with the Processing Superintendent or delegate.
- Work with the Processing Superintendent to facilitate ongoing skill assessment and development of crew members. Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures for tasks performed by the Process Operations Team.
- Provide input into capital and operational improvements of the processing plant. Allocation of daily tasks for all crew members. Initiate work orders for maintenance works when required.
- Operate in accordance with and comply with the Company’s Safety and Health Policy, and with all site policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Work in a manner that will not endanger themselves or any other person.
- Immediately report to the Processing Superintendent or delegate, Health and Safety Representative, OHS Superintendent or Processing Manager, any actual or potential unsafe conditions or activities, dangerous occurrences or injury in the workplace.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the mining industry. Sound knowledge in gold processing and classified plant management. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead a team to achieve organisational goals. Strong time management, communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications: Current “C” Class Australian Driver’s License and National Police Clearance.
