We have a challenging and rewarding Processing Superintendent position awaiting you at our world class

KCGM-Gidji Operations.  Promising a long term fulfilling future, Join and lead our processing team on the convenience of a 5/2, 4/3 (10 hour) residential roster. The successful applicant must reside in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Region

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Lead the Processing Team in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices and procedures meet Statutory, Company OHS and Company Operational Standards within the Processing Department
  • Assist in the development of maintenance strategies to improve and achieve plant production quality and operations
  • Ensure the team have clearly defined accountabilities and roles, have individual development and training plans in place followed by formal performance reviews in conjunction with the Processing Manager
  • Actively contribute, promote, monitor and enforce compliance to site safety policy and new initiatives as directed by the Processing - Manager.
  • Communicate the business objectives with team members to support their engagement and to focus all activity on agreed outcomes

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

 

Qualifications: Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers License, Current Police Clearance Certificate and Frontline Management Training or Equivalent.
 

Experience: The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry with extensive knowledge in gold processing and classified plant management. Must have the ability to provide effective direction and advice to subordinate personnel and can develop appropriate action plans in order to respond to current and emerging challenges.
