We have an enticing residential Processing Coordinator. Goldroom and TSF (Tailings Storage Facility) Management) position awaiting you at the world class Kanowna Belle Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 5/2 4/3 (10-hour days) roster.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Manage the performance of the Day Service team members via training programs, performance management, appropriate discipline and create a strong and vibrant team environment that allows team members to be successful in their roles
- Ability to Display a clear commitment to safety and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment. Operate in accordance with and comply the Company’s Safety and Health Policy, and with all site policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Interface with the Maintenance Department to ensure sections of the gold recovery areas are made available for routine maintenance and provide active support for achieving the weekly maintenance schedule on equipment.
- Promoting a safety-first culture and setting an example and encouraging team members to prioritize safety. Ensuring team members are adequately trained and competent in all safety-critical tasks and are aware of their responsibilities under site safety policies.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience: 3 years’ experience in operating gravity, leaching, elution, gold smelting circuits and tailings storage facilities. 2 years’ experience as a Leading Hand or Supervisor of a processing crew. Computer literacy – email, Word, Excel. PRONTO experience (desirable). Preferable INX experience (desirable). Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications: Certificate IV in Frontline Management (Desirable). Preferable ICAM incident investigation skills (Desirable). Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
