We have an enticing residential Process Technician (Day Services) position awaiting you at the world class Kanowa Belle Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 8/6 (10-hour days) roster.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Manage TSF operations and complete reporting as directed. Assist with plant clean-up, including crusher shutdowns, and provide leave coverage for Gold Room and Shift Operations staff.
- Support Maintenance and Operations teams during downtime and oversee bulk reagent deliveries if needed. Conduct stock takes, monitor mill liner use, and manage site waste.
- Gain competency in plant operations, mobile equipment, confined space sentry duties, and gas testing. Communicate with cross shifts, follow Shift Supervisor instructions, and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain a strong safety focus and contribute to an efficient and well-organized work environment.
- Display a clear commitment to safety and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/or damage to equipment. Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes. Operate in accordance with Company’s Stakeholder Policy. Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience: 2 years’ experience on a gold processing plant. Ticketed operator of mobile equipment – FEL, Skid Steer Loader, EWP, Forklift, and mobile crane. Ability to work unsupervised. Able to work as part of a team and foster team-building relationships (be a good team fit). Work with attention to detail. Good communication skills. Mechanical aptitude. Basic computer literacy – Microsoft Office and Excel. Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices. St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable). Awareness of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
Qualifications: Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
