Here’s what awaits you:

 

  • The Process Technician – Tailings and Water reports to the Processing Supervisor – Tailings and Water and is responsible for ensuring our Tailings Storage Facilities are operated and maintained in accordance with Northern Star KCGM’s environmental, legal and safety standards.

 

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous tailings experience or some general operating experience wanting to take the next step with their career.  Previous experience will be highly regarded; however it is not a requirement.  All necessary training will be provided.

 

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Qualifications:

  • Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence

Desired Experience & Competencies:

  • Minimum one (1) year working experience in an industrial/labour intensive working environment (advantageous)
  • Ability to work autonomously in a predominately outdoors environment
  • High Risk Work Licence highly regarded – Backhoe, Dogging/Rigging
  • Attention to detail and keen observation skills
  • Good practical mechanical ability
  • Strong safety ethic
  • Basic computer skills
  • National Police Clearance – valid within the last twelve (12) months
  • Current Western Australian HR or MR drivers licence highly regarded
  • Must reside within the Goldfields Region for our residential site
