We have an enticing residential Process Technician - Process Control position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 7/7 (12-hour days and nights) roster. 

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Manage the performance of the processing plant, tails delivery and tailings deposition in accordance with agreed safety, environmental and production KPI’s.
  • Ensure Processing Supervisor is aware of maintenance requirements on the shift to enable shift planning and if required follow up with the maintenance department to ensure optimal productivity is maintained.
  • Provide Process Technicians with sufficient process control information to enable them to effectively manage their work areas to ensure optimal productivity is maintained. 
  • Provide daily reporting of significant changes to Processing Supervisor, Metallurgists and Processing Superintendent to ensure personnel are appropriately informed of plant performance.
  • Monitor and communicate weather warnings including lightning status and display a clear commitment to responsible environmental management.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in the mining industry. Sound knowledge in gold processing and classified plant management. Good Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, Distributive Control System (Yokogawa), Pronto, INX. Good communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to drive results. High level of knowledge in statutory safety and environmental requirements relevant to processing.

Qualifications: Current “C” Class Western Australian Driver’s License. Western Australian Construction White Card. National Police Clearance within 12 months. High Risk Work Licence – Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Tester, Forklift Licence (LF), Dogging, Rigging (Desirable) and Elevated Work Platform (EWP).
