We have an exciting opportunity for a Mining Engineer to join our high-performing Technical Services team at Kanowna Belle Operations. This residential role in Kalgoorlie-Boulder operates on an 8/6 roster, 12-hour shifts, offering the perfect balance between career progression and lifestyle. What you’ll be doing:

• Driving mining success by producing high-impact weekly schedules aligned with monthly and quarterly plans.
• Providing clear, effective work instructions for production and ancillary activities, ensuring smooth operations and safety compliance.
• Overseeing Drill and Blast QA/QC activities to maintain precision and efficiency, enhancing overall performance.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimise production outcomes and improve operational strategies.
• Monitoring, reporting, and ensuring seamless compliance with production schedules, helping to deliver on key performance indicators.
• Leading innovative improvement projects to elevate mining efficiency, drive cost savings, and improve best practices.
• Mentoring junior engineers and operational teams, sharing expertise, and fostering professional development within the workforce.
• Engaging in cutting-edge technology initiatives, supporting automation, and improving mining methodologies for long-term sustainability.

What we’re looking for:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering.
• Current "C" Class Western Australian Driver’s Licence (Manual).
• Experience with mine design software – Deswik, with the ability to interpret and apply mining plans effectively.
• Hands-on underground production experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine (planning experience desirable but not essential).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive and innovative mindset.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving industry standards, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Desirable: St Johns Senior First Aid certification and familiarity with the Work Health & Safety Act and Regulations.
