We have an enticing residential Maintenance (Mechanical) Supervisor position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 7/7 (12-hour days) roster

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Manage maintenance personnel to ensure the effective maintenance of plant and ancillaries so that business targets and goals are achieved to maximum effect. Work closely with the Process Supervisor/s to ensure the process plant and facilities available are such that the key resources and assets are effectively utilised and optimised.
  • Lead the team in the maintenance of a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the development and implementation of safe work practices/procedures that meet statutory and company OHS&E requirements.
  • Lead the team’s safety compliance through actively monitoring work practices, participating in safety programmes, following up on improvement initiatives, and leading any OHS&E incident investigations.
  • Display a clear commitment to responsible environmental management. Operate in accordance with the Company’s Environment Policy, and comply with other site environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the planning process that enables production and processing optimisation. Operate in accordance with Company’s Stakeholder Policy.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: Sound understanding of fixed plant maintenance principals and their application in practice. Sound knowledge of operation of fixed processing plant equipment. High level of knowledge in statutory safety and environmental requirements relevant to plant maintenance and classified plant. Good level of knowledge in computer literacy, in particular Pronto and MS Office. Ability to plan and or anticipate likely scenarios as related to all key responsibility areas. Effective time management and good communication skills.

Qualifications: Frontline management or equivalent desirable. Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence. Mechanical Trade qualification and DMIRS statutory supervisor record of examination.
